I love smart braids!! I go for my waist length knotless braids and they get me right!! They are so fast and my hair is beautiful every time!!!!!! I have loved every experience here and have come  multiple times within the past year( and I even converted my sister) finding a place like Smartbraids  in is like finding water in the desert! they take reasonable priced , Walk-ins, and so fast and thorough( I spend maybe 6-8 hrs for pretty intricate designs). Hair is provided AND you can text the shop.

Took my daughter to smartbraids as directed by my wife, it was my first time driving there for braiding, it was a walk-in, they started off almost immediately,  I watched them work collectively in the most organized teamwork I have experienced,  and finished off on time. Smart Braids is hands-down the best braiding salon in Lexington, KY! My sister, who always goes here, referred me—and now I see why she stays loyal. I got boho braids in color 350—my absolute favorite shade for the fall season—and they came out stunning. I’m only 4’11”, and they made my braids booty length, which is exactly what I wanted.

The team works fast but with real quality, and they always make sure you’re paired with the right braider (or even a team) to get you looking flawless. A huge thank you to Angela and Megan—your hands are magic!

If you’re an early bird like me, they’ve got staff ready to take care of you first thing. Walk-ins are always welcome, and as long as you tell them your style, they’ll hook you up without a problem.

This is only my second time at smart braids. I wasn't there all day and I was done in 4 hrs. I usually don't get my hair braided often in a years time so getting use to my head being sore but other than that I'm pleased with my hair.

I’ve had my hair done here twice.  Love that they listen to what you would like done and work with you on what will look nice.  The style I have now is nice but I’m finding not all of my twists are the same length.  Two twists side by side are about 3 inches difference.

Nice ladies, knew exactly what hair I wanted.

Went to Smart Braids after it was suggested by 2 friends. I heard that they braid SUPER tight and even read a few negative reviews that mentioned the braids being too tight. I, however, had a great experience. They do braid tight but I just told them I didn't want them that tight and let them know any time they were getting too tight. They were very kind and continuously asked if I was "ok".

I got them done on a Friday night and was able to style them Saturday night and slept with no problem Saturday and Sunday night.  I plan on returning, for sure, in the future.
